The purpose of this article is to report on the newly recognized life threating gastrointestinal complications Corona virus infection (COVID-19) in form bowel ischemia and ischemic perforation. In a retrospective observational study at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates during period between March May 2020. All COVID-19 positive patients with free intra peritoneal air were included; total five met our inclusion criteria period, all admitted intensive care unit for mechanical ventilation management severe COVID 19 related respiratory complications. status was based PCR nasopharyngeal swab supported by typical radiological findings either chest X-ray (CXR) or CT Chest. Free under diaphragm radiologically confirmed patients. Patients’ demographics co-morbidities reviewed.
